Miguel "El Piojo" Herrera to Become Fourth Mexico Coach In Just Over One Month, Says Report

The Mexico national team will have its fourth manager in just over a month, according to media reports.

Miguel “El Piojo” Herrera has been tipped by Record to replace Victor Manuel Vucetich, who has only been in the job since September 12. Vucetich led Mexico to a last gasp win against Panama, and a 2-1 defeat to Costa Rica. Prior to Vucetich, Mexico had two coaches in one week — interim manager Luis Fernando Tena, who replaced Chepo.

Record reports that the Mexican Football Federation expect to tell Vucetich today that he will be sacked.

Mexico’s next game is November 13 when it plays New Zealand in the first leg of its World Cup playoff.
