Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Everton v Queens Park Rangers - Goodison Park

In a match that tested even the patience of even the most interested viewer, EPL side Everton looked flat and out of form in a draw with MLS bottom feeders Columbus. James Beattie one of the best attacking players in recent years of EPL play looked to be suffering from the midsummer doldrums, while Columbus showed the nation why they have not won a match in almost two months. The Crew lack the talent it appears to make any impact down the stretch in the MLS season.

The fans at Crew Stadium seemed more interested in taunting Aussie World Cup star Tim Cahill, Everton’s starting attacking midfielder then in trying to spur their side to a winning goal. This was a very disappointing night for Soccer in Ohio.
