Premier League returns on Boxing Day with NBC talent in UK

Boxing Day is one of the favorite days of the season for the fans of the English Premier League. And this year will be special for two reasons. First, it features the first Premier League games after the World Cup break. Second, the entire NBC Sports studio crew will be in England. They’ll be calling games, and reporting from pitch-side desks.

The tradition of Boxing Day, the day after Christmas Day, is uniquely British. The national holiday is a time for families to spend more time together. And if you’re a soccer fan, it always means a choice of many games to choose from that are played throughout the British football pyramid.

For Boxing Day 2022, NBC Sports have plenty of festive fixtures planned for soccer fans throughout the United States of America.

NBC’s plans for Premier League Boxing Day 2022

NBC Sports kick off its festive fixtures on Monday, December 26 from Emirates Stadium in north London. Home to Arsenal Football Club, the coverage begins at 7am ET with Premier League Mornings on USA Network (available via fuboTV).

Rebecca Lowe will host the show from London alongside Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and Tim Howard.

That Monday morning pre-game show leads into live coverage of Brentford versus Tottenham (7:30am ET on USA Network). The action continues at 10am ET with games across England. Those feature Leicester-Newcastle (USA Network). Plus three matches live on Peacock Premium: Everton-Wolves, Crystal Palace-Fulham and Southampton-Brighton.

Monday’s soccer action continues at 12:30pm ET with Aston Villa against Liverpool on USA Network. And the final match of the day is Arsenal versus West Ham, live on Peacock.

NBC Sports have informed us to expect special guests to appear at their pitch-side desks throughout the week.

On Tuesday, the NBC Sports crew will be pitch-side at Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium.

At 3 p.m. ET, Manchester United host Nottingham Forest on USA Network and Universo. Drury, Lee Dixon, and Le Saux will call the match live from Old Trafford.

The matchweek concludes on Wednesday, Dec. 28, with live on-site coverage from Elland Road beginning with Premier League Live at 2 p.m. ET on USA Network.
