LA Galaxy defeated the Seattle Sounders last night on away goals to advance to the 2014 MLS Cup.
With Seattle taking a 2-0 lead at half-time, it looked very likely that the Sounders would put the game out of LA’s reach, even though the Galaxy had won the first leg 1-0 last week.
But LA Galaxy scored a huge goal courtesy of Juninho (in the 54th minute), and held on to the 2-2 aggregate scoreline, which was enough for the team to advance on the away goal. It was a tough blow to Seattle to lose on such a slim margin in front of its own fans.
