The club that’s most likely to be taken over by American investors next is Tottenham Hotspur. That’s according to 39% of you, the readers, who believe the north London club could be going the way of Manchester United, Liverpool, Aston Villa and possibly Arsenal and Manchester City.
While almost 40% of you predicted Spurs being taken over by American businessmen, Everton and Newcastle both received 21% of your vote. Reading and Fulham received 13% and 6% respectively.
All this comes with the news that Southampton may be acquired by Seattle Seahawks owner Paul Allen. Southampton won against Norwich today and are fighting to get promoted from the Championship and back into the Premiership.
In the meantime, be sure to cast your vote in the next EPL Talk Poll (see left column of this blog page).
