Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp is running out of excuses to save his job at Loftus Road.
All season long, Redknapp has been selling his QPR team short. In the summer, after promotion back to the Premier League, he said his team was decimated by injuries even though the club was stocked with so many overpaid footballers. In the press conference prior to today’s game, Redknapp again used the injury excuse, explaining how so many of his players have been unable to start for the club this season. And now he prepares for a huge match against Aston Villa. A defeat for the R’s and it could be shopping time for Tony Fernandes again as he seeks a replacement for Redknapp. Tony Pulis, anyone?
