In 1978, singer Elton John was interviewed before a LA Aztecs game to help promote the NASL team and the sport in the United States.
The interviewer seemed quite enamored by the British pop singer. And both gentlemen were dressed in the trendy clothes of the time.
The backdrop of the stadium appears to be the LA Coliseum. Nevertheless, it’s an unusual and eyeopening video that shows Elton John doing his duty to promote the sport in the United States.
Elton John later became a co-owner of the team.
The team dissolved in 1981.
