Spain boss Luis de la Fuente has responded to Hansi Flick’s sharp criticism with a four-word claim that has only added fuel to the debate around Lamine Yamal’s recent injury.

The 18-year-old star trained individually with the ball for the first time since his injury, showing major progress in recovery.

Days after the Ballon d'Or gala, FC Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick set the expectations for Lamine Yamal's return from injury.

In a remark that has sparked debate across Spain and beyond, Tebas gave an unusual seven-word explanation for why Yamal did not claim the Golden Ball—adding a mysterious twist to an already dramatic evening.

Barcelona’s reaction to Ousmane Dembele’s Ballon d’Or win has left many fans furious, with some accusing the club of disrespecting its very own wonderkid, Lamine Yamal.

Lamine Yamal has suffered a huge squad blow as one of his key teammates at FC Barcelona will be out for at least four months.

Lamine Yamal’s father, Mounir Nasraoui, made sure his discontent was heard, casting doubt on the legitimacy of the result with a bold six-word claim that has shaken the soccer world.

Ousmane Dembélé won the 2025 Ballon d’Or, but many fans argued that Lamine Yamal, Barcelona’s 18-year-old star, should have taken the prize.

Beyond the official rankings, it was Yamal’s humility and sportsmanship that stole the headlines, while his father’s words after the event carried a different kind of weight.

The evening belonged to Dembele on the podium, but the true measure of character was shown after the curtain fell, when Barcelona’s prodigy finally broke his silence.

At just 18 years old, Lamine Yamal could make history at the 2025 Ballon d’Or gala in Paris as the youngest winner ever, surpassing Ronaldo’s record from 1997.

France Football denied the rumors, insisting only one person knows the Ballon d’Or results, while speculation around Yamal continues to grow.

With just one day prior to the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Paris, Lamine Yamal has been sidelined for the 2025-26 La Liga game between FC Barcelona and Getafe.

At just 18 years old, Lamine Yamal will represent Barça at the Ballon d’Or ceremony, where he is also a strong candidate for the Kopa Trophy.

A key presence for the Ballon d'Or ceremony could be seen as a subtle hint pointing toward Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembele.
