In looking at Chelsea’s aging squad (I hate Chelsea with every bone in my body, FYI) perhaps Pulisic will get some playing time after all. Many of their starting team are already over or are approaching 30. If their new coach is open minded enough to give him a chance. Hopefully the sizable transfer fee will be enough to give him a fair chance to show his talents. Hopefully more quality American players can get on decent teams and garner the international experience our USMNT so desperately needs.

A follow up question about Kartik’s great point about the English Championship league. Are you saying that it is more believable that Ipswich can defeat Leeds United on any given day right more so than Huddersfield can beat Liverpool? Also do you think the football league tiers should reduce from 24 to 20 teams across the board?
