We can absolutely agree on our current president. If he’s a genius he’s the evil kind…

Believe Bennett applied for US citizenship in 2014…

Maverick: my dictionary, admittedly not the Oxford Unabridged, has a picture of Bennett right by the definition of genius…

Even his TV interviews, which he plays super straight, are kind of brilliant. I’m sure he’ll open it up some over the next few years so they’re more like his radio interviews, but I think his calculation of playing these straight for now absolutely the way to go. Just look at the coaches and players he’s interviewed over the last 6-12 months — some great gets. These guys don’t want to be surprised and find themselves part of a comedy schtick,

I’m sure Bennett is concerned about ending up like a Bud Collins from back in the day. Eventually, Collins was more of a caricature than a commentator or interviewer. Bennett’s got much higher aspirations.

We don’t agree but kined of a minor point given what a jackass we have as prez…racist, bigot, liar, draft dodger. So compared to trump and associates Roger Bennett is quite an honorable person. Though it would be nice if he applied for citizenship given his love of this country. Decent guy…honest…and to appease you…doing a great job…but not really a “genius”…but have it your way. At least they are smart enough to figure trump and conway. So funny. Peace.

What? R Bennett is anything but…genius? Very poor interviewer for starters. Yes…as a depressed brit he does know a lot about soccer. But so what. So do about 2000 other brits. Nothing “brilliant” involved. Legends in their own minds…nothing more. I do find it easy to fall asleep while listening to their podcasts though. So I thank them for that. Genius…Maybe check the dictionary Charlie.

    Guys!

Roger Bennett is a genius. I fully expect he’ll win a MacArthur Prize at some point. Everything about MiB brilliant. Setup, content, marketing. Davies no dummy, and I think a lot of the marketing is his, but Bennett is the genius.
