derby derby derby (EPL Talk Review Podcast)

Derby weekend as Wenger takes on Di Matteo and Villa face Brom in Brum. Both were ‘politically tactical’ matches where managers were just happy to get away with a good performance. Even Wenger will take positives from the match at The Emirates.

Liverpool faced Norwich whilst United were beaten by a very well set out Spurs side.

With the UCL coming up for EPL sides, we look forward to those matches whilst Kristan gives a beautiful review of the food in Sunderland. Where’s the best food you’ve had on your sports travels? Let the podcast know:

Okay podcast but sometimes i wonder why even put people in the podcast that say stupid things. First you hear this one guy say that UTD needs a defensive midfielder like Makelele, Essein…. and said they need a a defensive midfielder like Yaya toure. How dumb is that? Yaya Toure is not a defensive midfielder in the Makele Role. IF so why would Mancini put De Jong, barry, Rodwell and now Garcia next to him??
And abou diaby is not patrick vierra-like. the only similarities between them is that they both black and french. Their games are different.

Last week it was this stupid piece of ananlysis: City doesn’t have a player that can dribble like Hazard(that can dribble past two players)….Aguero, Silva and Toure are very good dribblers and have dribbled past a few players before.

Before Yaya Toure came to the EPL he was predominantly a ‘sitter’ and protected the Barca back four quite well. For some reason or another Mancini saw a different side, a side that allowed a more attacking and dynamic element to Yaya. So at the moment he was bought, I could imagine no one thought he’d play that role. So they aren’t off by saying he could most definitely play in a Makelele role, whether that would be bring out the best of him is debatable.

Holly Smokes! What is going on at this Podcast!

I havent listened for a while but thought while I stuff a roast chicken and peel potatoes I would flick it on and I have to say…..

Finally, I hear reason, and appreciation for AVB, very well stated Kartick and Kristian. It is very rare to see or hear any 1 in media really look at and understand the positive impact AVB has had on Spurs.

AVB an apparent team wrecker and horrid man manager has got these Spurs players believing in themselves and each other. To believe they could win @ Man Utd, (which by the way is not easy to do) the Spurs Moto is To Dare Is To Do–and under AVB they are.

It was refreshing to hear the review of the Man Utd Spurs game, I expect to not agree with every word of every pundit when it comes to Spurs. However, this is the first time (that I have heard anyway) Some deserved Love directed at AVB. (I think I could hear Morgan cringing as the love was let loose).

    Better, Better, Better Podcast

Yes, It is only one game, but it is one that will have a positive psychological effect on the team moving forward.

(Kartick perhaps get a pop guard, maybe even the blue Snowball USB mic and use the hyper-cardiod pattern)

Congratulations to AVB. Yes, he has his weaknesses, but he certainly dsen’t deserve to be condemned either.

although the loudness of Morgan’s silence during the Sours/MU discussion was also a little amusing. Based on past podcasts he should have made some effort to share his view
