San Antonio Scorpions defeated the Fort Lauderdale Strikers 2-1 on Saturday night to win the NASL Championship.

Playing on home turf, the Scorpions won the game with two clinically finished goals. The first, a bicycle kick by Rafael Castillo, was a beauty.

The second goal, by Billy Forbes, showed his burst of pace to open the Fort Lauderdale Strikers defense.

The Strikers pulled a goal back from Walter Ramirez in the 79th minute, but it wasn’t enough to stop San Antonio from winning their first NASL title in their history.
