Wigan Athletic Away Shirt for 2013-14 Season [PHOTOS]

Wigan Athletic have unveiled their away shirt for the 2013-14 season.

It’s a shame that the club isn’t in the Premier League this season because the design of the shirt is exemplary.

Wigan’s away shirt is black with gold trim. Designed by Mi-Fit, the shirt features a classy black buttoned collar. Wigan’s club crest is featured in a gold color, while the shirt sleeves feature a unique gold striped hem.

According to the club website, the shirt won’t make it’s “competitive debut” until September when the club plays Leicester City away.

  1. Unless they plan on outsourcing the football club to China, I don’t see the need for the Chinese characters.

    1. Wigan will be playing in the FA Community Shield, as well as in the Championship next season, so many of their games will be beamed around the world – particularly in Asia.

  2. Just like last year, that monochrome crest on black so looks like a skull. Not complaining or anything – kind of badass looking, actually.

Pretty decent shirt design overall too. Best of luck to those Pie-eaters. Hope they make it back up to the PL soon.
