What are CBS’s plans for The Golazo Show once we get to the round of 16 and later? Not enough matches in the same window to make it too compelling vs airing a match in full. Hoping we get some full matches when that time comes instead. Same for Europa League once they get closer to the end.
No news from CBS Sports yet. The whiparound shows are perfect for the Group Stages.
Do we have easier access to soccer now yes. But could it be better 100% yes it can be. It shouldn’t be to difficult to allow streamers the same live access to the matches that are on cable like NBCSN matches should be available on Peacock just like CBSSN is doing with All Access with Champions League.
As for my personal problems it is more that ESPN+ doesn’t show ALL the matches be it EFL or the Scottish League and so on with other Leagues. Hell these matches don’t even need English broadcasting just give me the local broadcasting team.
Lastly as to watching every match I would love to see a streaming package like Fanatiz but with more soccer say Leagues like Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, UAE and many many more. I find that I’d love to see these other Leagues get some streaming deals for us in the USA. I use LiveScore to keep track and I see all these other Leagues and just think Wow I’d love to see those matches.
@Don, I agree with everything you wrote. FYI, if you want to watch UAE, they are on a streaming platform called Sports Flick Global for $10 a month. There is an European Cricket league that I had been watching some on Youtube that this streaming platform got the streaming rights too. I have not tried out the service and not planning on it either.
