Happy New Year (EPL Talk Review Podcast)

On an extended pod we discuss Suarez, Sir Alex and Silva. With the ‘topsy-turvy’ results which have presented themselves it is clear that this holiday period has been full of surprises, not least for the high-flyers of the EPL.

Sir Alex has floated the idea of three more years, does that automatically mean that he will win more titles in that time? Kenny Daglish and Liverpool might have made his job a little easier by taking the title of ‘most hated club’ away through their protection of Suarez: are they right to do so?

Kartik and Kristan also take a look at what upsets the final round of holiday matches may throw up. Tweet along with the podcast and give us your views for the next show:

Henley is pretty young…still a teen if memory serves me right. With a few more years in the EPL under his belt, he’ll surely get a look from the USMNT, especially if rovers can avoid relegation. Word around Knoxville is that he is more interested in possibly starting for Wales rather than being a reserve for the US. Time will tell.

Love the podcast by the way.

Spot on Cody, no sooner had we finished I looked it up and realised I’d mixed up my Hanleys and my Henleys haha. Appreciate the eagle eyed correction though!

Do you see him playing for the US?

EPL Talk….just wanted to clarify something from the Jan 1st podcast. There was talk about how well Grant Hanley had been playing for rovers and how he was in a tug of war between Wales & the US, being born in the US. I believe you have your players confused. Adam Henley is the player born in Knoxville, TN, not Grant Hanley.
