  1. 2 Villa friendlies in Texas….why do I get the feeling there’s a dude with a big hat and a pile of cash waiting for them when they get there…

  2. Well at least the SF Bay Area got one decent game (Quakes vs Alt. Madrid).

We use to get all the top Nat and club teams here. Don’t know why that changed?

    1. The “good” games will return to the Bay when Levi’s Stadium opens.

No one wants to play at the Stick (please implode that pigsty ASAP) or the Phone Booth (a baseball park with lousy sightlines).

      1. True, but Stanford is still a great place to watch games. Yes it’s only 55K now but that’s still big enough and bigger or equal in size of other venues around the country that are getting games.

  3. I wouldnt go to any of the club friendlies because all their good players will be playing in the World Cup, or resting from it afterwards

  4. So far I’ve got USA vs Turkey and Liverpool vs MCFC tickets. May still go to a few other ones but it’s going to be a great summer with all this and the World Cup.

    1. Purchased the MLS vs Bayern Tickets. Had to get them through Stubhub, all sold out via Timbers.

I’ll be there to boo Bayern .

  5. hey when will the tickets be on sale for : AS Monaco vs Atletico Nacional, Miami game on July 23?? If there is a link i can just see would be awesome thanks.

  6. MNLotAdvantage USA? For God so loved USA that he has given team USA an chance to watch a lot of teams in action , including group G world cup opponents , Ghana and Portugal .
No country could have had it so good TEAM USMNT. This is a mini world cup and if USA can pick lessons from , they can go far in Brazil .But can they ?

  7. Look at all of these friendlies in the United States. And no Americans will be attending them. As usual, nothing but immigrant populations at these events.

Because in the United States, soccer doesn’t matter. Never has, never will.

    1. I’m an American, & I’m going to one of these matches. Soccer matters to me. If it doesn’t matter to everyone, so be it. Why do people feel the need to justify or discredit soccer? I think the NBA is boring, so I don’t watch. If others watch, great. If they don’t, great. To each his or her own.

  8. Philadelphia Union vs Crystal Palace, PPL Park, Chester, PA

This game will be played on Friday July the 25th,and not on the 24th!

  9. Two changes to note/add:

Brasil vs Ecuador, 09/09/14, Met Life Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ

Also, the Olympiacos AC Milan is in Toronto at BMO Field now, not Citi Field in New York.

  10. two Bay Area edits…

The July 27th SJ Earthquakes match v Atletico Madrid will be at Candlestick Park at 4pm.

The July 26th Real Madrid vs Inter Milan match is in Berkeley, CA. It’s across the bay from SF, but it is not SF. The venue’s name is Memorial Stadium. It’s on the UC Berkeley campus, and is where the college football team plays it’s home games.

  11. Is there any place that I can find the rosters for the Real Madrid vs Barcelona friendly at Marlin’s Park on Sep. 11th.?

    1. Here they are:

Real Madrid: Bodo Illgner (GK), Steve McManaman, Christian Karembeu, Fernando Morientes, Luis Figo (pictured above), Ruben De La Red, Guti, Michel Salgado, Ivan Zamorano, Fernando Redondo, and Fabio Cannavaro

Barcelona: Vitor Baia, Henrik Larsson, Luis Garcia, Deco, Guily, Juliano Belletti, Francesco Coco, Santi Ezquerro, and Gerard Lopez.

Subject to change. And more players may be added soon.

  12. What about the USA vs Colombia match in sept, 2014? Is it really confirmed? Do not see anyone selling the tickets yet.

    1. Colombia supposedly didn’t submit the contract to the US in time, so the friendly is not going to be played.

  13. Do you happen to know the NYC Summer Schedule for 2015? Men’s International Games? Barcelona? Brazil? USA?

    1. Nothing has been announced yet, but stay tuned to World Soccer Talk and we’ll let you know as soon as details are announced.
