Battered by injuries and facing a relentless fixture list, the Rossoneri mastermind is on the precipice of a profound tactical metamorphosis, where the role of the American talisman hangs delicately in the balance.

Amorim’s latest message to his squad suggests Pulisic cannot afford to relax.

The 28-year-old is now back scoring and building his fitness, but his latest comments suggest there is another message he wants to send as Milan's season begins to gather momentum.

After Sunday's emphatic victory over Lecce, Amorim has now reached a remarkable milestone in Milan's history, although the significance of his opening run only becomes clear when it is compared with some of the club's most famous managerial starts.

Milan has reportedly made an early attempt to lure Viktor Gyokeres, with the Swedish striker’s uncertain situation at Arsenal opening the door to a potential January transfer story that could have wider implications for Ruben Amorim’s squad.

Milan's 2-0 loss to Benfica at San Siro exposed several problems in Amorim's side, but the aftermath could also bring an important change for Pulisic as the Portuguese manager looks for players who can execute his ideas more naturally.

The Portuguese manager faces growing scrutiny after a night that exposed several weaknesses in his team, and owner Gerry Cardinale has already discussed what went wrong and where the project goes from here.

The decision came on a frustrating night for Milan, which suffered a 2-0 defeat at San Siro in its opening Europa League league-phase match.

The USMNT forward has watched all three Serie A matches from the bench, creating plenty of questions about his role after previously establishing himself as one of the club’s most important attacking players.

Despite being named among the substitutes in each of Milan’s opening three Serie A matches, Pulisic has watched every minute from the bench as the new coach searches for the right balance in attack.

Amorim is now within touching distance of a remarkable record that has even eluded legendary Milan coaches such as Carlo Ancelotti.

After a frustrating stretch dominated by injuries and limited opportunities, Pulisic could finally have a chance to change the narrative against a familiar opponent.

While coach Ruben Amorim reportedly secured his replacement signing a Premier League prospect, the fee and salary of Rafael Leao's move from AC Milan to Galatasaray have been officially revealed.

While his agents have reportedly offered him to AC Milan, coach Ruben Amorim stated that Rafael Leao's situation " is not important"at the moment.

After an injury-hit summer and a difficult second half of last season, Pulisic now has a fresh opportunity to rebuild his momentum under a coach who appears determined to get the best out of him.
