For soccer fans in the United States, the experience of watching the FA Cup is going to change forever. That’s because beginning in January, every single FA Cup Third Round match will be streamed live via ESPN+, the new streaming service.

In previous seasons, only select matches from the FA Cup Third Round and later stages would be shown on US television and streaming when FOX Sports had the rights. That meant that soccer fans would miss out on the vast majority of games that would not be shown anywhere in the US or around the world. But in a historic first, every single game from across the FA Cup Third Round from Friday January 4 to Monday January 7 will be streamed live.

With 32 matches to choose from, soccer fans who subscribe to ESPN+ will have so much to choose from as well as matches from Serie A, Championship, League One, League Cup, Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana, Eredivisie, and several other soccer leagues.

With ESPN+, you can watch it on your computer, Amazon Fire, Android phone/tablet, Apple phone/tablet, Roku, PS4, Chromecast and Xbox One.

Plus, you get access to the 30 For 30 series, college basketball, top rank boxing, cricket, rugby and more. For just $4.99 per month after the free 7-day trial, it’s a bargain.

In previous years, the biggest complaint about the FA Cup was that you would often miss the best games because they weren’t televised or streamed. Sometimes a giant killing would happen, but if it wasn’t televised, it didn’t seem as special. Here, with all 32 games in the Third Round streamed (as well as the games from the subsequent rounds too), you won’t miss anything.

Before FOX Sports lost the rights to the FA Cup, FOX would typically broadcast nine FA Cup matches from the Third Round. With ESPN+ showing all 32, that’s a 256% increase in the number of games shown.
