What’s Di Matte with them? (EPL Talk Preview Podcast)

Sometimes things just end because it feels wrong, but sometimes things end because you are too scared to see what will happen. With that said, should RDM have gone from CFC? The pod discuss this in part one and look at the interim manager: Rafa Benitez, making a return to the Premier League in quite good shape: Chelsea fans may have to come up with more affectionate terms for him now. I just hope no one orders a wine on the bench.

Fact is, this is ruthless football from Roman and he doesn’t even know if he’s getting what he wants. Rafa hasn’t been in the league for a few seasons now but it’s fair to say that he wasn’t exactly the picture of footballing health last time we saw him. With so many question marks hanging over him, what will this mean in the press?

Let us know which Disney character fits in the EPL. Who would you draw as a cartoon?

There are plenty of previews to come and UCL analysis on this EPL pod. Sir Alex gets it kinda right in Turkey and Arsene can rest for a day or two. Plenty of work to be done elsewhere though: Do you think Rafa will be a good interim manager? Let the pod know:

LLoris the biggest flop signing!? Are you serious? He is world class and has barely been featured. Its jot his fault AVB has stuck with an in form Friedal. Without a doubt Dempsey the donkey has been the biggest flop and he’s proven it as he has started almost every game this year.

Not that it matters what I think, but credit where credit is due, Morgan a better more thoughtful and accurate observation of Spurs..except for the Freezal observation. Kristan also accurate on Dawson.

Keepers like Lloris don’t stick around, I hope the following link is true about Freezal!

Yeah I hope so too. I pull for your boy Brad as an American but it seems to my (admittedly not expert) eye that Lloris is just such a better.

I see Rafa negotiated a long term contract by Chelsea standards, assuming he makes it to the end of the season.

Good gravy – this Di Matteo thing has rendered Laurence speechless. I have seen it all now!

So Rafa takes over again from a manager who won the Champions League the previous season.
