Including this weekend, there are just three matchdays left before the month-and-a-half hiatus for the World Cup in November and December. Despite the rising importance of each fixture, this is a fairly calm weekend in the Premier League.

That being said, this Saturday represents the busiest single day of the Premier League in this campaign. There are eight games on the docket for Saturday, Oct. 29. These kickoffs range from 7:30 in the morning to 2:45 in the afternoon.

That early morning kickoff is a fascinating one. Leicester City hosts Manchester City with both clubs on good form in their last several fixtures. After a dismal start to the campaign, the Foxes are three games unbeaten, including a pair of victories on the bounce. Manchester City has four wins in its last five surrounding that Liverpool loss at Anfield.

Liverpool is in action for the Saturday finale as Jürgen Klopp’s side host a reeling Leeds. Jesse Marsch and company are desperate for a result. Rumors swirling about Leeds sacking the American manager loom larger with each defeat.

On the topic of managers, Graham Potter returns to Brighton on Saturday morning as manager of Chelsea. Potter managed the Seagulls from May 2019 until September of this year. He has Chelsea humming despite a late draw against Manchester United in the most recent matchday.

NBC coverage at the weekend

As stated, Saturday is a wildly busy day in the Premier League with eight kickoffs on one day. NBC’s studio crew of Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Mustoe and Tim Howard will be busy throughout. They have Premier League Mornings and Premier League Live around each of the games at the weekend.

GOAL RUSH comes in during a clutch time with five kickoffs set for that 10 a.m. on Saturday window. The Premier League show follows one game in particular, but is shows all of the notable moments and goals from across the grounds as they happen.

Check out the Premier League in 4K if you have the ability. This weekend, the 4K games are Liverpool vs Leeds and Manchester United’s game against West Ham. Make sure you have the right hardware and subscriptions to watch the combative Premier League in higher resolution.
