Sling TV, a brand-new online streaming service, is now available that provides sports fans and cord cutters with access to ESPN, beIN SPORTS and more than 20 other network channels.

The service is available in the United States and no cable or TV subscription is required. All you need is an Internet connection, $20 per month for the basic package (or $25 per month for the basic package plus the sports package) and a device to play it on.

Sling TV is available for your computer (PC or Mac), smartphone (Apple iPhone and Android devices), set top box (Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV stick), and tablet (Apple iPad and Android tablets). Sling TV will be available soon for Xbox, Nexus Player, webOS Smart TVs from LG Electronics and select Samsung Smart TVs.

What channels are available on Sling TV? Here’s the complete listing as of press time:

‘Best of Live TV’ Package ($20/month): ESPN, ESPN2, TNT, TBS, CNN, Disney Network, Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel, El Rey Network, Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, ABC Family, Maker and Galavision.

‘Sports Extra’ Package ($5 extra/month): beIN SPORTS (HD), ESPNEWS, Univision Deportes Network (UDN), ESPN U, Universal Sports, SEC Network, ESPN Buzzer Beater, ESPN Bases Loaded and ESPN Goal Line.

‘Kids Extra’ Package ($5 extra/month): Disney Jr., Disney XD, Boomerang, Baby TV and Duck TV.

As part of the launch, Sling TV is offering a free 7-day trial so you can see for yourself how it works and what the quality is like. Sign up for the free 7-day trial today!

So what does this mean for soccer fans? The two major benefits as a result of the launch of Sling TV are (1) you can now watch ESPN and beIN SPORTS on the same legal and online streaming package (which is especially convenient if your TV provider doesn’t offer beIN SPORTS) and (2) Sling TV provides you with an opportunity to become a cord cutter so you can watch most of the major soccer games without being tied to a cable or satellite TV subscription.

With Sling TV and access to ESPN and beIN SPORTS, some of the leagues and tournaments you have access to all year include La Liga, MLS, USMNT games, Serie A, Capital One Cup, Euro 2016 qualifiers, Copa del Rey and more.

Plus, Sling is offering several promotions where you can get a free Roku streaming stick or Amazon Fire TV stick, or 50% off a Roku 3 or Amazon Fire TV when you sign up for 3 months of Sling TV.

Also, parent company DISH (no DISH subscription is required to use Sling TV, by the way) has announced a deal where more channels will be added in the near future including AMC, BBC AMERICA, BBC World News, Epix, Epix2, Epix3, and Epix Drive-In, IFC, Sundance TV, and WE tv. Unfortunately a deal with NBC Sports to provide NBC Sports Live Extra isn’t on the horizon for the foreseeable future, but if Sling TV is successful, that may put the pressure on NBC Sports to do a deal in order to compete with ESPN. FOX, meanwhile, has its own streaming package called FOX Soccer 2GO which offers cord cutters and sports fans UEFA Champions League matches and more.

If you’re not satisfied with Sling TV, you can cancel online at anytime. And there’s no commitment (i.e. no annual contract required). It’s month to month.
