With less than 30 seconds to go until the referee blew the full-time whistle, Portugal’s Silvestre Varela scored a goal with the last kick of the game after a superb header from Cristiano Ronaldo to finish the game 2-2 against the United States.

It was a sucker punch to the United States. It felt like a defeat for the US, but now the US needs to get a point or more against Germany, while Portugal lives to tell another day.

That was a bad pass by Bradley, but still a good player not great. I think he needs to focus a little more, but with the heat and sweat, concentration can lapse after 90+ min.
