Aston Villa Home Jersey 09/10 Season Revealed

aston villa home jersey Aston Villa Home Jersey 09/10 Season Revealed

Aston Villa’s new home jersey for the 2009-2010 season has been revealed.

Thankfully, Villa and Nike haven’t tried to reinvent the new Aston Villa kit but have instead gone back to the basics with a clean and simple design that reminds me of the simplicity that Umbro used for the new Manchester City home kit.

The new kit was unveiled today on Aston Villa’s official club website while the team is in Spain for the 2009 Peace Cup tournament. More pictures of the kit can be found here.

Hardly worth the wait!!!! Its practically the same as last seasons, with the exception of a stripe from the collar to the sleeve. Was there any point in producing such a indifferent design?! I don’t think many fans are going to purchase the home jersey this season.

  2. What’s the difference between the new and the previous kit? Round collar, smaller shoulder blue?

    Why bother?

  3. Jon Andrews says:

    Really disappointed!!!!

No different from last season, but betta than the Newcastle away kit!

  4. renford williams says:

its crap im telling you im gonna complain its so rubbish there is not difference i was really excited for it to be revealed and im now reall dissapointed but ithink the away kit is really brilliant!!!!!!!

  5. David says:

Seems to me like the club are doing us a big favor, The club is under contract to Nike to bring out a kit every year for the first 3 or 4 years so they have made it pretty much the same so we would not feel we need to buy the new one thus saving us 45 quid.

So fair play to the club if you ask me, looking out for us again, any thoughts on my take on the matter?

this is BS .they made me wait eagerly for weeks!its tha same as last season.this is kind of like when MON said he was going all out at the transfer window to reinforce the squad and now ,the transfer window is here and he made 1 signing…2 an injured player!!just isappointing

I don’t understand people in general. Randomclub FC keeps the same design they always do, people complain because they were expecting something new and innovative. Randomclub FC changes the design of their home jersey, people complain that they should keep it simple and stick to the classic design.

i was expexting some great exiting kits now we have nike but every single home shirt has been awful this seasons away shirt is bad enough its jus like they have spent 5 minuets designing this kit, im really dissapointed, im just going to wear last seasons away shirt that is now the 3rd kit, and exactky my point they cant even be botherd to make a new 3rd kit they just use last seasons away top, really dissapointed

  9. Classic kit. Well done Villa!

  10. Cf says:

I must admit i like it but that is because last seasons kit is my favorite ever.
But i was hoping that they would bring out a striped kit like 1993 :) Up the villa!

cant believe ur all bein so uncharitable – the shirt proceeds go to a brilliant cause – you might understand the need as a parent for ACORNS, they do a fantastic job and we should support them as much as we can. You are showing all of the other teams that you really are an avid AVFC supporter- what a load of let downs you are !!!!! shameful
