Fox Soccer Channel will be televising friendlies this summer featuring Spanish powerhouses Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The action gets underway on Saturday, Aug. 1 at 10:30 p.m. ET when Fox Soccer Channel broadcasts Barcelona against LA Galaxy live from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Max Bretos and Christopher Sullivan will be commentating.

The following Saturday, Aug. 8, FC Barcelona will face Chivas de Guadalajara in the final match of Barca’s U.S. tour.  It will be a rematch of the teams’ August 2008 showdown in Chicago, when the Catalan giants toppled Chivas 5-2.  Pregame coverage starts at 10 p.m. ET. Mark Rogondino and Christopher Sullivan will be commentating.

Sunday, Aug. 9 sees the final game of Fox Soccer Channel’s international summer series, when Real Madrid fans in the U.S. will get their first look at the club’s two big name off-season acquisitions, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaká.  The nine-time UEFA Champions League winners will take on D.C. United at Fedex Field in Landover, Md.  Live coverage of this exciting match-up begins at 2:30 p.m. ET. Dave Johnson and Christopher Sullivan will be commentating.
