I do not believe I have seen this depicted in such an informative way before. You actually have clarified this for me. Thanks!

, the easiest way, and probably the most entertaining way to go around football talk and to do it for hours is to have a panel of speakers, hopefuly supporting different teams … although i have a few friends that are also FC Barcelona fans and we can chat around for hours … you see, football isnt just a sport its a way of life!

BDB: I don’t hate Around The League. All I said was I use to be on the show. I was trying to get my opening monolog ready and I dropped the paper. That’s what happened. If I was going to lower myself to that level I wouldn’t be a professional.

I made the change. That’s it. That’s all I did. There is no reason to lie. Also this is the very first show I have broadcasted. It will get better each and every week. Even Winning Ugly had some bumps in the road when they got started and right now everything is fine. But as the weeks move on, the show will be smoother.

But I do thank you for your comments. I’m glad you listened. That’s all I ask.

I have given it a chance,
You need a better script I understand you were nervous, but Holy crap I get it you hate that Around the league does not have you on anymore, you miss talking every week, you miss talking about the game, but you need interesting things to talk about! Topics and have a discussion on them ( well a discussion with yourself I guess) It comes across as all you care about is hearing yourself talk. I was good that you had some callers but try not to interrupt them and laugh over them it was a little distracting.
The Press day interviews were the same 3 questions asked to different people, not compelling enough.
You were counting down the minutes at the end of the show as you obviously ran out of things to say. I knew 2 hours was going to be to long. Make it an hour, make it a topical good hour, and build it from there.
Right now there are much better shows out there that sound more professional, have a focus and a direction, and give the illusion of a converation with thier audience and not someone just talking for the sake of it.
Maybe in time you will get there it just seemed like you were a little over your head today.

Good Luck Dan at least you have the balls to finally try it. Now the hard part is to look to what you can improve and maybe you will find the right mix.
