The rumor mill on the Guardian website is reporting that Sunderland manager Roy Keane, a longtime teammate of David Beckham’s with Manchester United is trying to lure Becks to the Northeast of England. Beckham is of course under contract with the LA Galaxy but does anyone seriously think that despite their denials, the Galaxy wouldn’t want to get some return on what to this point has been a horrendous investment?
