Raúl Eyes Retirement

After equalling Real Madrid legend Alfredo DiStefano this past weekend, Raúl is starting to focus on the eventual end of his career.  According to an interview with Spanish sports daily As, he said he believed he has “two or three years” left in his career.

“Yes, every game it comes closer, but I still have two or three years left at the top level. Then I will look ahead,” said the Madrid captain.  He also believed that after that time period, he will analyze his future.

“The main thing is to try to go out at the top and that is difficult, because we all think we can continue our form and it is difficult to accept a retirement.”
