Get Your Beat The Manager Game Predictions In For Your Chance to Win an Apple iPad

Christopher Harris

Now that the Beat The Manager game has launched, hopefully you’ve had a chance to play it. If you haven’t, there’s still plenty of time to register for your chance to win one of several Apple iPad tablets that we’ll be giving away throughout the Premier League season.

But before you dive in, here are some very important announcements:

1. If you selected Reading or Chelsea as your teams, be sure to go ahead and predict the starting line-up (+ subs), as well as what the final score will be, and which starting line-up (+ subs) you think that Roberto Di Matteo or Brian McDermott should start today. The deadline to get your entries in is 1:30pm ET/6:30pm BST today. Just click the ‘Play The Game’ link on the Beat The Manager page. (The Chelsea-Reading prediction option has been open since Monday).

Don’t forget to register as a player, too, if you haven’t already.

2. Once today’s game is over today, we’ll update the Beat The Manager game in preparation for this weekend’s matches (as well as all of the transfer ins and outs), so you can post your predictions beginning tomorrow for gameweek 2.

3. After today’s match is over, we’ll be compiling the stats from gameweek 1 plus today’s Chelsea vs Reading midweek match to see who scored the most number of points each week. I know several of you asked about a leaderboard, and we’re working on seeing what we can do in this area.

4. Laurence, Morgan and Kristan will be on the EPL Talk Podcast tonight discussing this weekend’s matches. And during one of the segments, they’ll be concentrating their focus on one match in particular from this upcoming weekend, and giving their analysis and predictions about who should start, who will start and the final score. If there’s a particular match that you want them to review, either post it in the comments section below or tweet EPL Talk on Twitter.
