Kudos to Telemundo for their announcers…I couldn’t understand a word but their enthusiasm
and obvious passion for the game translated regardless of the language. Cantor is the king!

Telemundo got Horacio Elizondo as their referee analysis…he is a real referee, with WC 2006 final under his belt…
Fox got “Doctor” Joe Machnik…a travesty.
The ottoman in my living room has more credibility and footballing knowledge than “Doctor” Joe…

As expected, Telemundo has sent Erasmo Provenca and Viviana Vila home. Thank you for playing.
In the meantime, FOX i.e. David Neal just spent $10k to ship Derek Rae and Aly Wagner via business class from LA to Moscow. Looks like Neal will swap out JP & Tony Meola for Rae and Wagner as FOX’s new #2 commentary team.

This Aly Wagner is terrible, partnering her with Derek Rae is a travesty. I wish I had a dollar for every time she says “mid” Leave her at home and replace her with the excellent and knowledgeable Kelly Smith. While we’re at PLEASE either send Lalas home or put a welders face mask on him. His inane ramblings and posturing in front or succesful ex players is hilarious but annoying. He’s a complete embarrassment.

bbc during the group games had didier, cesc, shearer and linekar, and that’s the studio (in moscow) analysis. i’m getting sick of the spanish announcers, back in the 80’s when it was spanish or nothing was one thing. the entire fox group should stick to……i don’t know, they’re dreadful! where do they find them, guess it is the same place fifa found the mls ref of the year. what a calamity that was!
