EPL Commentators on NBC Sports: Nov. 25, 2016

Chelsea host Tottenham in a battle between top-five Premier League teams and London rivals this Saturday, Nov. 26, at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC and NBC UNIVERSO, highlighting this weekend’s Premier League coverage.

When the teams last met in May, Chelsea ended Tottenham’s hopes of winning the Premier League title after they came from down 2-0 to secure a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge. The high-pressured match also produced 12 yellow cards. Now, first-place Chelsea find themselves top of the table after a six-game winning streak that’s seen them outscore their opponents 17-0, while Spurs remain the only unbeaten team in the league. Tottenham are looking for their first-ever Premier League win at Stamford Bridge, and their first win there in any competition since 1990.

“What a fantastic game for our NBC audience to enjoy,” said Arlo White, NBC Sports Group’s lead Premier League play-by-play commentator. “The memories are still fresh in my mind from last May and that thrilling and ill-tempered clash at Stamford Bridge. It was the most intense and compelling 90 minutes of Football that I witnessed all season. The ‘Battle of Stamford Bridge’ has elevated this London rivalry to a whole new level. With both teams chasing the title this season, and Tottenham desperate to avenge their title heartbreak, I expect similar fireworks on Saturday.”

White calls the match alongside analyst Graeme Le Saux at Stamford Bridge.

NBC Sports Group’s Premier League coverage begins this Saturday, Nov. 26, at 7 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN, followed by Burnley v. third-place Manchester City at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and NBC UNIVERSO. Yaya Toure scored both goals in City’s 2-1 victory against Crystal Palace last weekend, bringing the club’s unbeaten streak to five Premier League matches. Burnley look to rebound following a 4-0 loss against West Bromwich Albion yesterday.

Saturday at 10 a.m. ET, NBCSN presents coverage of second-place Liverpool v. Sunderland, with Swansea City vs. Crystal Palace on CNBC. Liverpool look to reclaim the top spot this weekend, after goalless draw against Southampton on Saturday saw them drop to second.

All matches not on NBCSN or CNBC in the Saturday 10 a.m. ET television window will be available on Premier League Extra Time, a bonus television package available to MVPDs at no extra cost for customers who receive NBCSN. In addition, Saturday at 9:30 a.m. ET, the Premier League’s Goal Rush product will be featured on Premier League Extra Time as well as via the NBC Sports app and on

Following Chelsea v. Tottenham, NBC presents a live Goal Zone at 2:30 p.m. ET. Rebecca Lowe hosts Goal Zone and Premier League Live, joined by former Jamaica National Team player Robbie Earle and former Major League Soccer and U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Kyle Martino.

Premier League coverage on Sunday, Nov. 27, begins at 6:30 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on CNBC, followed by Watford v. Stoke City at 7 a.m. ET, and fourth-place Arsenal v. Bournemouth at 9:15 a.m. ET.

Coverage continues Sunday at 11 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN, followed by two matches at 11:30: Manchester United v. West Ham United on NBCSN and TELEMUNDO, and Southampton v. Everton on CNBC. Manchester United most recently drew 1-1 with Arsenal. White calls Manchester United-West Ham, joined by Le Saux at Old Trafford.
