Nike’s England home jersey for 2016 looks just like USMNT one [PHOTOS]

Due to Nike’s lack of creativity and over reliance on template designs, the US-based kit manufacturer will release new jerseys in the coming weeks for the national teams of England and the United States that will look almost identical.

The new leaked images of the jerseys reveal how similar they are in design, with the only discernible differences being the crest and the use of a navy blue trim on the England shirt instead of red on the USMNT jersey.

The core attributes of soccer jerseys should be that they are a representation of the nation’s identity. Are the USA and England so similar that their soccer jerseys have to look practically identical? I think not, which is why Nike’s design is lazy.

Nike is using the same template for the kits of England, USA, and France.
