Surely Concacaf has ordered the referee to do anything in his power to make sure Mexico makes it to the final. “We have to do anything to avoid a final without at least 1 of the 2 powerhouses of the region”.
Well done ref! Your bonus is waiting for you in your hotel room, I’m sure.

The red card and penalty late in the game were such ridiculous calls. I feel for Panama. It makes it even worse with the classless Mexican fans throwing things at the players. Mexican fans are such garbage. They have thrown things at players in every Gold Cup match so far. They did that at the last Gold Cup too.

2 things can happen right now, Mexico get the fakest penalty call ever, which would not be surprising, or Panama win and we have the most watched 3rd place match. 😀

Reggae Boyz. Being a Jamaican-American it was kind of weird but I’m ecstatic. We’ve never won the Gold Cup and it would mean a lot to everyone there if we won the whole thing. Just so happy. I guess this is how it feels to support Brazil or Germany.

mmm Lalas spewing his Klinsmann hate.

Also point #2, If anyone tries to compare USMNT and the USWNT, you can spot right away they are football idiots.

Fault today, Beckerman I’d say, too slow, been saying that for last year or two.

I think Beckerman should be on the squad, but he shouldn’t be playing against very athletic teams like Jamaica. Beckerman is good playing against teams that pass and hold the ball a lot. Beckerman isn’t good an running down players. This was a bad selection by Klinsmann for this game.

Why is anyone surprised? There were more English league regulars in the Jamaican team than the USA. Klinsmann was right, Americans players heading back to America on inflated contracts will hurt the national team in the long term. Jamaica seems stronger because most of them play for English teams.

    English Championship 2 – MLS 1 🙂

At the risk of feeding a troll, don’t you mean: MLS 2 – MLS 1? Last I checked at the very least half of the Jamaican squad play in the US?

5 US based, 6 UK based in the starting lineup

The US will end up winning this one. Jamaica’s keeper is extremely dodgy.
