Why on earth did Fox Sports choose the Fiorentina-Sevilla game which had Sevilla up 3-0 after the first leg instead of the Dnipro-Napoli game which was 1-1 after the first leg? Stupid decision by Fox, as usual. Sevilla are up 2-0 at halftime (5-0 aggregate) while the Dnipro-Napoli game is 0-0 at halftime.

I’m watching the Dnipro-Napoli game streamed on ESPN3. Wish it was on one of the Fox Sports channels. I know it’s on Fox Soccer Plus but my cable provider doesn’t offer that channel. This is the semi-finals for crying out loud! Couldn’t Fox show both to the most viewers possible?

It’s a combo of FOX thinking that Sevilla-Fiorentina will generate higher ratings/viewing numbers. Plus, FOX knowing that the number of viewers for Europa League are usually pretty small anyway.

It still doesn’t make sense, but that’s FOX for you.
