Tottenham Hotspur will be the featured opponent in this summer’s MLS All-Star Game to be held at the Colorado Rapids stadium near Denver on July 29, 2015.

Spurs will be the 10th different international team to have played the MLS All-Star Team. Previous teams have included Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Everton, Manchester United, Fulham, West Ham and others.

The game will be televised live on FOX Sports 1, UniMás and Univision Deportes Network (UDN) in the United States, TSN and RDS in Canada, and in more than 100 countries worldwide.

While Tottenham’s game in the US hints at a tour that would include other teams in other cities, the Spurs boss says that this will be the only US fixture on their schedule this summer.

“The fact that this will be our only fixture outside of Europe during preseason says a lot about how we view this game,” said Mauricio Pochettino. “We enjoyed three tough matches last summer in North America and the quality of football in MLS continues to grow every year.”

An exclusive presale window for Colorado Rapids full season ticket members and additional partners will take place from April 16-23. Tickets will then go on sale to the general public starting on April 23 at noon ET.

In addition to Tottenham Hotspur, several other glamorous foreign teams will be playing in the United States this summer including Manchester United, Club America, Barcelona, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and others in the 2015 International Champions Cup North America.
