Nine years ago, I launched what was to become World Soccer Talk from my bedroom. My mission was to create one of the biggest soccer websites in the United States, where fans from around the world could come to talk about their favorite sport.

After launching EPL Talk in November 2005, which was rebranded as World Soccer Talk in 2013, the site has grown year by year thanks to you, the readers, who continue to be extremely loyal and have built a tremendous community (with more than 250,000 comments). And, of course, a lot of the credit has to go to the tens of writers, pundits, artists and people who work behind the scenes to make everything possible for you.

A lot has changed since our launch 9 years ago, but we’re still laser-focused on bringing you the news and analysis that you need to enjoy the most out of soccer.

On behalf of the entire team at World Soccer Talk, I’d like to thank you. And I wish everyone the best of luck for years to come.
