Julian Green Scores for the USA to Reduce Belgium’s Lead to 2-1 [VIDEO]

USA teenage sensation Julian Green scored a brilliant goal in the second half of extra time to pull a goal back for the USA, with Belgium now leading 2-1.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder, who plays for Bayern Munich, hit the ball first time with a volley that struck the ball into the back of the net. The floated pass from Michael Bradley was inch-perfect, but the finish by Green was even better.

Lol that’s always easier to say in hindsight. If he started from Game 1 he might have had 0 goals. I agree the coach made a ton of questionable calls this run, but I wouldn’t say not starting a 19 year old was one of them.

I was wondering why Julian Green wasn’t fielded
right from the start, when it had been apparent
that Bedoya couldn’t really perform in the previous matches.

    Too little, too late.
