England’s Wayne Rooney Featured In New Nike World Cup Video

England star Wayne Rooney is featured in a brand-new World Cup TV commercial from Nike, where even a parked bus won’t stop Rooney from scoring.

While Nike’s new video isn’t better than the best soccer commercial ever, I love how it marries match footage with what looks like a scene from a video game!

Man, LFC could have really used that against Chelsea.

I think more patience and actually picking the smart pass rather than launching from distance would have had the desired effect. Our inexperience really showed as that match wore on, because there were numerous better options available.

Your “inexperience” came in the form of your 34 year old captain! How many 40 yard bombs does he hit a season? However many, he’d already used them up by the Chelsea match.

England has the same sick fascination with Slippery Stevie and Grampy Lampy. Why these two crankers will be sharing midfield duties is beyond sanity. England won’t make the quarters unless they sleep on the bench.
