Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne are part of Chelsea’s plans for the future, according to Jose Mourinho.
In this morning’s press conference, Mourinho said, “I think they are ready, I think they are ready to be part of Chelsea.”
That’s welcome news for both Belgium footballers. Lukaku had an explosive season on loan at West Bromwich Albion where he scored 17 goals in 20 league appearances for the Baggies. Attacking midfielder Kevin de Bruyne has been on loan at Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga, where he scored 10 goals in 33 league appearances.
Do you think Lukaku and De Bruyne can break into the first team at Chelsea and make a difference this season? Or will they both be condemned to the bench for most of the season? Give us your viewpoint in the comments section below.
