Nice one Gaffer, I’m a Liverpool fan of 43 years, I couldn’t get a ticket for the semi, thankfully, but was at Anfield in the weeks just before and after April 15th 1989, and appreciate the post.

The Hillsborough disaster reminds everyone of the human nature of sport. When people die, no matter the circumstance, it’s always a reminder of what is and isn’t important in life. Too bad it took so long for the truth to come out for this tragedy. There is never closure in these matters but at least there are answers for the families involved.
It was also very classy of Everton to pay tribute to the dead before their game on Saturday.
