Gary Neville’s Punditry is the Best, But Others Need to Raise Their Game: The Daily EPL

Tell us something we didn’t know already. Alan Shearer is awful. Gary Neville is the best by a country mile. Of course, we’re talking about their punditry skills. Not their football skills. But still, the article by Michael Cox is a good review of Britain’s pundits — the good, the bad and the ugly.

Not really seen Neville. Dixon is excellent, I’ve not seen Gudjohnsen but can imagine he’s pretty open.

Personally I like Stan Collymore, he doesn’t sit on the fence and his radio commentary is particularly good in my opinion.

Presenters wise it is a travesty that James Richardson doesn’t appear on one of the major channels. If Lineker bails on the BBC for BT they could do worse than trying Richardson out.

Yes, James Richardson should be more involved. He’s one of the best presenters I’ve seen, and if anyone’s listened to Football Weekly they would probably agree.

But, I think he’s more interested in Serie A, rather than the BPL.
