Eddie Johnson makes Cardiff Debut

Eddie Johnson made his debut with Cardiff City yesterday in a 2-1 League Cup victory over MK Dons who featured Jemal Johnson in the midfield. Both Americans played the full 90 minutes and Eddie Johnson is in the process of getting himself match fit and comfortable at his new club.

Cardiff Manager Dave Jones stated ” “We have players here who need time to bed in and Eddie Johnson is one of those, but we will soon see the best of him.” Jones is under pressure with Cardiff City attempting to push promotion. Last season the club reached the FA Cup final at Wembley but did not push as aggressively for promotion as the directors had hoped. EJ could be a big part of the setup with Cardiff if he regains his form and helps the Welsh side achieve its Premier League dreams.

Bob Bradley hates all players that use skill and not power. If he had Messi he’d tell him he’s a ball hog, doesn’t defend, and sit him. Oh and he really hates Altidore, Adu, Cooper, Buddle. But he loves his son.
