As ESPN continues to acquire more soccer rights in the United States, the self-proclaimed Worldwide Leader In Sports is beginning to augment the rights it already has by offering the option of Spanish-league commentary to competitions such as Serie A, FA Cup and others.

ESPN+ had acquired the US rights to the FA Cup and Serie A in 2018 in both Spanish and English, but with the interest for European soccer growing among Spanish-speaking viewers in the United States, it makes sense for ESPN+ to begin offering Spanish-language commentary now as an option.

Spanish-language commentary will be available for the Copa del Rey and Coppa Italia too. Plus, beginning Monday, January 13, ESPN+ will present Outside the Game, the popular roundtable news and analysis program dedicated to European and international soccer, five days a week.

According to ESPN, “The development of Spanish programming is another step to meet the demand of a growing audience of ESPN + subscribers, and a strategic goal of the company, to serve the Hispanic sports fans.”

In January, ESPN + will have more than 50 live sporting events for fans with commentary in Spanish.

As of press time, here are the upcoming soccer games that will air in both English-language AND Spanish-language on ESPN+ during the next week:
