Eish is a great word. Non-South Africans need to adopt it.

Who cares about commentators if millions of us cannot see the games without paying more money for it. The relegation battle in the EPL is heating up and unless you pay for their ”Gold” service you’re out of luck.
On a different note but related: What else would we expect from a company like NBC Universal ? but greed. Here is an example, NBC showed the Olympics opening ceremony in South Korea 15 hours later on tape delay while it was live all across Canada. I couldn’t believe what I was reading yesterday. I wonder about the EPL coverage in Canada, I’m guessing it’s million times better than here in the States.

How dare NBC try to make some money on their BILLION dollar investment! I’m sure all their employees enjoy working for free, too!

Damn them all to hell – those greedy bastards!

Hi Azer, By way of comparison, in Canada today all the games were on cable TV, either via TSN or Sportsnet. They are all free to stream (and for TSN rewatch for a week)’if you subscribe to the channel on your cable package. NBC is also available on TV so I could choose between its broadcast and the World Feed for the ManCity v Leicester game. The US used to be well served by NBC(SN) but this has changed. When I’m in the UK there seem to be just the early and late kickoffs available on a Saturday (even those not on regular cable). Of course there I can actually GO to the game, which is great.

Why aren’t they shown live? To encourage folks to go to their local matches and buy a ticket?

Guys is this possible if you stay in UK(England) to listen to premiere league world feed commentators unlike sky/BT sport?

    • YGW

      February 10, 2018 at 7:37 am

The world feed commentaries are provided by Sky and IMG. The 3pm matches aren’t broadcast live in the UK but they are shown on Sky Sports later in the day and all have the original world feed commentary. Sky and BT always use their own commentators for their live matches.

No Jon Champion yet again! This is become a much-too-common theme on the weekends.

Thanks as ever for this list.
    Saints 3 Lpool 0. Ward-Prowse hattrick.

If Ward-Prowse were able to take three free kicks without Boufal taking the ball away he’s probably capable of it. Good luck shutting out Liverpool:) Ain’t gonna happen.
