Sling TV integrates beIN SPORTS Connect into streaming service

Sling TV has integrated beIN SPORTS Connect channels into its streaming service to offer soccer fans more soccer coverage then ever before.

Previously, Sling Latino subscribers were only able to access beIN SPORTS Connect by authenticating with the unreliable Connect website where they could access all of the additional soccer-related channels not available on the regular beIN SPORTS and beIN SPORTS en Español channels. That included LaLiga TV as well as a long list of games not televised from LaLiga, Ligue 1, Turkish Super Lig and other soccer competitions.

But now Sling Latino subscribers (also known as Sling TV subscribers with the Best of Spanish TV package) will be able to see all of the beIN SPORTS Connect channels integrated into the app itself (see screengrab below). The same applies to Sling World Sports subscribers who can now access the beIN SPORTS Connect channels.

Plus, if you’re a Sling Orange or Sling Blue subscriber, you can get beIN SPORTS Connect by adding the Best of Spanish TV package.

The benefit of accessing beIN SPORTS Connect is that it opens up a wealth of new soccer content that you’re not able to access elsewhere. If you’re a fan of any clubs in LaLiga, the beIN SPORTS Connect channel LaLiga TV is highly recommended.

On a typical weekend, 20% of the games from LaLiga are available exclusively through beIN SPORTS Connect. As for Ligue 1, typically the only game televised each weekend is the one featuring Paris Saint-Germain, but many of the other Ligue 1 matches are available via beIN SPORTS Connect.

“The launch of beIN SPORTS CONNECT on Sling TV continues our commitment to making our world-class sports coverage accessible to as many fans as possible,” said Antonio Briceño, beIN SPORTS’ deputy managing director for the U.S. and Canada. “By increasing the reach of our live sports content in collaboration with Sling TV, we have the opportunity to reinforce the strong presence of beIN SPORTS in the Spanish market and serve our audience’s passion and desire to access this content wherever and whenever.”

Pricing for Sling Latino and Sling World Sports is $10/month. Sling Orange and Sling Blue subscribers can add the Best of Spanish TV package for $5/month. You can access a free 7-day trial to Sling Latino, Sling World Sports, Sling Orange and Sling Blue today.

Sling Latino has also added Discovery en Español and Discovery Familia at no extra charge.

Is Bein Connect available in better resolution then on Fubo TV?

This is good to see. Anyone know if SAP will be available? The only way to switch from Spanish to English and vice versa is to go to beIN Connect. Maybe beIN can hang on having it’s channels directly available on two major streaming services (fubo and Sling).

Don’t think sling offers SAP on any of their channels.

Plus on the Sling World Sports you are able to scroll back 7 days and watch matches that you missed.

IS this still available – 7 day look back. Would I get it on sports add on US packages too?

When I had sling a few months ago, I had the Blue/Orange with sports extra, and a few other extras and also “World Sports”. With world sports, you still get 7 day look back with all beIN channels to include connect and La Liga. To get the connect channels you must have World Sports or spanish add-on. I’m currently with Fubo and they have all of the connect channels too.

I hate to say it, but since my family uses YouTubeTV (unlimited DVR and custom channel line-ups for the kids) this is going to kill my FuboTV subscription. Buying Sling Word Sports for a year is incredibly cheap, but I’ll miss Fubo’s great sort by sport listings.

The World Sports package also included those channels as well. I saw them on my guide this weekend as well.

He said that in the third paragraph. “The same applies to Sling World Sports subscribers who can now access the beIN SPORTS Connect channels.”

I missed it apparently. My bad.
