Waiting for the comment from the guy who hates Peter Drury

@James, Thanks for your comment. The human soul is the most complex of all animals. Peter Drury’s artistry with the spoken word is one of the reasons I watch and enjoy soccer. A well educated human being, especially in the arts and literature, would deify Drury instead of the sticks he gets from some ignorant people. Martin Tyler, Derek Rae, Jon Champion, Ian Darker and Darren Fletcher (BT Sport), John Roder and Daniel Mann are also very good. What happened to the voice of god of sports commentary, Tim Caple of Eurosport? I wish he was on EPL!

This same guy probably likes Ray Hudson…
All the commentators you have mentioned are superb. Martin Tyler is the best commentator, I support Man United but I have to say his commentary on the City vs QPR game in 2012 was world class

No, he doesn’t like Ray Hudson. Go back to last week and read the basis for other people’s opinions and reasons for preferring one style of commentary over another and you may come across as less of a condescending twit.

Yeah. Love this site, yet a lot of people who comment are toxic, hating Peter Drury for no reason for example.
