The group stage of the Copa America Centenario tournament is complete, and both Univision Deportes and FOX Sports have reported impressive numbers for their telecasts. For FS1 and FS2, they’ve both broken their records for the most-watched men’s soccer games on those networks. 
The 2016 Copa America Centenario has produced three of the top four men’s soccer ratings in FS1 history, as viewership for the three US group stage matches grew throughout the tournament. USA’s third match, in which the Americans clinched a spot in the quarterfinals, averaged 2.061 million viewers, setting the record for the most-watched men’s soccer match in FS1 history.
Through all 24 matches of the group stage, Copa America Centenario on Univision Deportes averaged 2.6 million total viewers per match, besting the 2014 World Cup group stage performance by +3% among Adults 18-49. Univision Deportes has reached 39.4 million Total Viewers 2+ through the Copa America Centenario group stage.

Throughout the tournament group stage, the Mexican national team matches averaged 4.9 million total viewers on Univision. The Mexican national team matches out-delivered the NHL Stanley Cup Final telecasts on all NBC networks and the Tony Awards on CBS among Adults 18-49.
So far this tournament, FOX Sports is averaging 759,571 viewers per game compared to 2,600,000 viewers on Univision.

An viewing average of 4.4 million people watched the USA’s 1-0 victory against Paraguay on US television Saturday night, in a game that sent the US Men’s National Team into the quarter-finals.
The USA-Paraguay game, which was televised live across Univision, Univision Deportes and FOX Sports 1, was shown from 7-9pm ET. The game averaged 2.4 million viewers across Univision and 2.0 million on FOX Sports 1.
While Univision had approximately 400,000 more viewers watching the United States on their Spanish-language network, the Univision network is available over-the-air while FOX Sports 1 is only available via cable or satellite subscriptions.
For FOX, the USA-Paraguay match is the most-watched men’s soccer game ever on the network. With viewership for US games growing over each of the team’s three matches, Copa America has now produced three of the top four men’s soccer ratings in FS1 history.

The US opened the tournament on June 3 with a 2-0 loss to world No. 3 ranked Colombia (1.536 million viewers), before rebounding to beat Costa Rica 4-0 on June 7 (1.6 million viewers, an FS1 record at the time).
Coming into the tournament, the previous FS1 record for men’s soccer was the 2015 CONCACAF CUP (1.561 million viewers).

Univision’s coverage of Copa America Centenario has started with a flurry, reaching 21.2 million total viewers during the opening weekend, which outperformed the World Cup group stage by 14%, according to Univision Deportes.
So far this tournament, the Spanish-language sports broadcaster is averaging 2.9 million viewers per game.

Copa América Centenario will be played in the United States for the first time ever. Sixteen teams will compete for the chance to take home the 100th anniversary edition of the winning trophy. Altogether for the month of July, Univision beat ESPN2, FOX Sports 1 and NBCSN in primetime among total viewers, adults 18-49 and 18-34.
The impressive numbers helped UDN&nbsp;rank number 2 in July regardless of whether the network was English- or Spanish-language.

UDN set new ratings records in July, tying with ESPN for #1 among men 18-34 and #2 delivering more Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 than every cable sports network beside ESPN in primetime, regardless of language.
This was the first time a Spanish-language cable sports network ever ranked as the # 1 or #2 sports network for a month in any key daypart.
UDN averaged 454,000 Total Viewers 2+, 279,000 Adults 18-49 and 139,000 Adults 18-34 in primetime in July, establishing a new network record. Viewership bested ESPN 2 by +80% among Total Viewers 2+, by +194% among Adults 18-49 and by +256% among Adults 18-34, bested Fox Sports 1 by +8% among Total Viewers 2+, by +44% among Adults 18-49 and by +65% among Adults 18-34, and bested NBCSN by +23% among Total Viewers 2+, by +200% among Adults 18-49 and by +415% among Adults 18-34.
The UDN broadcast of the Gold Cup final between Mexico and Jamaica delivered 1.7 million Total Viewers, 1.0 million Adults 18-49, and 542,000 Adults 18-34, the most-viewed telecast ever on the network, and the 3rd most-viewed sports telecast last week on all TV regardless of language among Adults 18-34. Viewership was largest ever for a Spanish-language sports network.

During the month of July, Univision Deportes reached 31.7 million Total Viewers 2+ with 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup coverage via television and digital. Univision Deportes live streaming provided 6% lift to TV viewership.
The 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup tournament averaged 2.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 million Adults 18-49 and 562,000 Adults 18-34 per match on Univision Deportes, out-delivering its coverage of the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup by +40% among Total Viewers 2+, by +42% among Adults 18-49 and by +49% among Adults 18-34.
Univision Deportes aired the top 9 most-viewed matches of the tournament among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 on any network regardless of language. 
25 of the 26 tournament matches drew more Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 on Univision Deportes than Fox Sports.
Univision Deportes delivered more than 4 times the audience size of Fox Sports among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
The Gold Cup final with Mexico vs. Jamaica aired Sunday at 8:00 p.m. ET on Univision, simulcast on UDN, and averaged 6.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 3.5 million Adults 18-49 and 1.8 million Adults 18-34.
Viewership increased +148% among Total Viewers 2+, +164% among Adults 18-49 and +170% among Adults 18-34 compared with the 2013 Gold Cup final match between USA and Panama on Univision.
This was the most-viewed match of the 2015 Gold Cup tournament on any network regardless of language.
