
<p>After featuring a handful of times last season, <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/teams/wrexham-tv-schedule-for-viewers-in-usa/">Wrexham</a> is back on ESPN+ this week for the first time since the 2023/24 season started. As the cup season continues in England and Wales, Wrexham has an FA Cup tie coming up in the first round proper of the competition. </p>



<p>On Saturday, Nov. 4, Wrexham is in action at Mansfield Town. Kickoff is set for 3:45 p.m. ET. As stated, this is the first round of the FA Cup. As a member of League Two, Wrexham did not have to compete in any of the qualifying stages of the tournament. Instead, it joins the competition with the other 47 teams from League One and League Two. In total, there are 80 teams competing in this round. Wrexham, out of the fourth tier, is taking on Mansfield, which is also in the fourth tier. </p>



<p>This is Wrexham’s first game this season airing on ESPN+. While ESPN+ does have the rights to League One and League Two games, it generally only puts one or two games per month on the streaming service. Moreover, those are during international breaks. While this round of the FA Cup is not during an international break, it still presents an opportunity to watch Wrexham on US TV. </p>



<p>Last season, hundreds of thousands of American fans watched Wrexham in action as it went on a magical run to the fourth round of the FA Cup. It narrowly fell to Sheffield United, then in the second division, in a replay at Bramall Lane. Fresh off <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/news/wrexham-secure-football-league-promotion-via-mullin-brace-20230422-WST-429737.html">promotion into the Football League</a>, Wrexham is back in the FA Cup.</p>

<p>Last season, some of those FA Cup games aired on traditional ESPN channels. For example, the replay in the fourth round against Sheffield United was <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/tv/wrexham-fa-cup-replay-added-to-espn2-vs-sheffield-united-20230203-WST-418515.html">on ESPN2</a>. The original tie between the two was <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/tv/interest-in-wrexham-sheff-utd-fa-cup-game-peaks-on-espn-20230201-WST-417989.html">ESPN’s most-followed soccer game that week</a>. By comparison, more people were interested in Wrexham-Sheffield United than they were in Brighton-Liverpool or Bayer Leverkusen against Borussia Dortmund that weekend.</p>



<p>Wrexham has a strong following in the United States, which is a credit to the <em>Welcome to Wrexham </em>docuseries that follows the club. Also, it helps to have famous owners like Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney at the helm.</p>



<h2>Wrexham is off to another strong start this season</h2>



<p>After promotion, Wrexham continued its fine form in a new division. That should help the Welsh club’s efforts. Currently, Wrexham sits third in League Two with 30 points after 16 games. To be fair, it is still very early in the campaign. However, third place in League Two is good enough for promotion to League One automatically. </p>



<p>Last season, Wrexham supporters said the FA Cup run was a bonus to what was a historically dominant season from the Red Dragons. If the club can go on another impressive run, it could help push the club to achieve more success in the league.</p>

Wrexham to appear on ESPN+ for first time in 2023/24 season

After featuring a handful of times on ESPN+ last season, Wrexham is back on the streaming big screen in early November.


<p>There is lots to love in the offering of soccer games on <a href="https://go.web.plus.espn.com/mWebq" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ESPN+</a> this February. Here’s what you can look forward to in the second month of 2023: </p>



<h2>FA Cup</h2>



<p>Don’t miss any of the <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/fa-cup-tv-schedule/">FA Cup games</a> through January 30. And watch all of them via <a href="https://go.web.plus.espn.com/mWebq" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ESPN+</a>, which includes their new whiparound show.</p>



<h3>League Cup Semifinal and Final</h3>



<p>The FA Cup 4th Round doesn’t return until March 1, but the League Cup features two games in February. First, Manchester United and Nottingham Forest kick off the month on February 1st in the second leg of their semifinal. The Red Devils are just one step away from reaching Wembley once again.</p>



<p>Then the Final will pit the winner of the that tie against either Southampton or Newcastle on Sunday, February 26.</p>



<p>With Newcastle having the slight edge in the game after winning the first leg 1-0, the Geordies will be dreaming of trying to get some silverware. The last time Newcastle United won a major domestic trophy was 68 years ago! So forgive the Toon Army for getting excited.</p>



<h3>Bundesliga</h3>



<p>Every single <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/bundesliga-tv-schedule/">Bundesliga</a> match is available live on ESPN+. Key matchups include Dortmund-Freiburg (2/4), Wolfsburg-Bayern (2/5), Leipzig-Union (2/11), Frankfurt-Werder (2/18), and Bayern-Union (2/26).</p>



<p>Select Bundesliga-2 matches are also shown. Paderborn 07 versus Fortuna Dusseldorf ((12:30 PM, 2/3), St. Pauli versus Hannover 96 (7:30 AM, 2/5), and Hannover-Paderborn (7:00 AM, 2/11) are currently on the schedule.</p>

<h3>LaLiga</h3>



<p>Like the Bundesliga, every game from <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/la-liga-tv-schedule/">LaLiga</a> is on ESPN+.</p>



<p>League leaders Barcelona and Real Madrid kick off the month with games on the 1st and 2nd respectively. Additional spicy matches include Villarreal-Barça on 2/12, Osasuna-Madrid on 2/19, and and the Madrid Derby between Atléti-Real Madrid on the 26th.</p>



<h3>Liga MX</h3>



<p>Every so often a stray match or two from Mexico’s top division finds its way onto ESPN+, available <em>en Español</em>. Monterrey versus Querétaro will be shown at 7:30 PM ET on February 15th.</p>



<h3>Copa del Rey</h3>



<p>We won’t find out the draw for the Copa del Rey semifinals until January 30, but what we do know thus far is the four teams who are in that stage of the competition. They are Real Madrid, Barcelona, Osasuna and Athletic.</p>



<p>The semifinals of Copa del Rey are set for February 6-9. <a href="https://go.web.plus.espn.com/mWebq" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ESPN+</a> will be streaming the games live.</p>



<h3>DFB-Pokal</h3>



<p>Germany’s top domestic cup will feature six round-of-16 matches starting on February 1. Mainz-Bayern and Bochum-Dortmund highlight the slate of games.</p>



<h3>English Championship, League One and League Two</h3>



<p>England’s second, third and fourth tiers continue on in February as well. The Championship slate, thus far, will feature Norwich-Burnley (2/4), Middlesbrough-Blackpool (2/4), and Blackburn-Wigan (2/6). League One and Two currently do not have any matches scheduled but a handful of games are usually presented each month.</p>



<h3>Belgian Pro League</h3>



<p><a href="https://go.web.plus.espn.com/mWebq" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ESPN+</a> features select games each weekend from the Belgian League. Nothing is on the official docket just yet for February, but you can be sure Antwerp, Genk, Standard Liege and the usual suspects will make an appearance.</p>



<h3>Dutch Eredivisie</h3>



<p>Coverage of the Eredivisie continues in February as well. Volendam-AZ (2/4), Cambuur-Ajax (2/5), Feyenoord-PSV (2/5) and Groningen-Twente (2/5) are scheduled.</p>
