<p>Emirates’ front-of-shirt sponsorship with Arsenal, now running until 2028, has become the longest-running in Premier League history. This new agreement will mark a remarkable <a href="https://www.arsenal.com/news/arsenal-and-emirates-extend-partnership-2028" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">22-year association between the two</a>.</p>



<p>The announcement came before the Gunners’ match against Monaco in the Emirates Cup, a pre-season game. Before, this agreement, the <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/teams/arsenal-tv-schedule/">Arsenal</a>-Emirates jersey sponsorship contract, agreed in 2018, would have expired in 2024.</p>

<p>Chief Commercial Officer of Arsenal Juliet Slot remarked, via <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12364199/Arsenal-extend-shirt-sponsorship-deal-Emirates-2028-partnership-set-reach-22-years.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Daily Mail</a>: ‘We are incredibly proud to make history by extending our partnership with Emirates until 2028.</p>



<p>“The longevity of our special relationship is a sign of our enduring shared values, our ambition to bring our global communities together, and our commitment to building on the numerous achievements that have marked our 17-year journey to date.</p>



<p>“As we take our partnership to a minimum of 22 years together, we’re excited to move forward and we’re focused on celebrating more incredible moments with our supporters around the world.”</p>



<h5>What did the Airline say?</h5>



<p>The President of Emirates Airline, Sir Tim Clark, expressed his satisfaction with the renewal of the shirt sponsorship agreement: I’m proud of the journey that Emirates and Arsenal have shared over the past 17 years.</p>

<h2>How much is the Arsenal deal with Emirates worth per year?</h2>



<p id="block-c0596fcb-3140-407a-b7ca-8a8e1ab4663f">Since the stadium’s opening in 2006, the name “Emirates” prominently featured on the front of Arsenal’s kits. That applies to each home, away and academy jersey in the club’s many squads.</p>



<p id="block-b0da70cb-83b7-43d3-9426-7deee8d6f9d3">Emirates first started sponsoring Arsenal with a deal in 2004. The airline signed an agreement for the club’s stadium. Two years later, they settled on a shirt sponsorship contract.</p>



<p id="block-580613f4-bdd5-4545-8450-725b17f1aa0b">The new agreement has a value from $57 million to $64 million annually, according to <a href="https://www.footyheadlines.com/2023/07/arsenal-to-extend-emirates-main-sponsor-kit-deal.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Footy Headlines</a>.</p>

Arsenal extend Emirates deal until 2028: How much is it worth?


<p>First glimpsed in <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/news/arsenal-2023-24-kit-leaks-20230329-WST-425869.html">leaks in late March</a>, the Arsenal 2023/24 kit is officially here. The Gunners <a href="https://www.arsenal.com/news/introducing-our-new-202324-adidas-home-kit" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">released</a> its latest home shirt today. Both the men’s and women’s clubs will wear the shirt in the upcoming 2023/24 season. The new top will debut in the both teams’ finales in the Premier League and Super League seasons this weekend.</p>



<p>The new shirt is the classic Arsenal red with white sleeves, topped off with gold accents. A zig-zag/lighting bolt motif adorns the shirt front, upper back and socks. Dark red zig-zag vertical pinstripes go down the front of the top. In certain lighting conditions, you can see an additional tonal texture on top of the pinstripes.</p>



<p>The gold accent choice is a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the unbeaten 2003/04 “Invincibles” Arsenal side. The authentic version of the shirt has that team’s 26-12-0 record stitched into the side.</p>



<h2>The Arsenal 2023/24 kit</h2>

<p>The new home top pairs with white shorts and gold trim, and white socks that feature a vertical zig-zag red stripe. The zig-zag design elements throughout the kit carry over from this year’s home shirt. There, a similar design featured in red on the white polo collar.</p>



<p>The Emirates logo is rendered in white, which really makes it stand out above everything else. It’s the opposite effect of the latest <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/news/manchester-city-23-24-kit-celebrates-etihad-stadium-anniversary-20230519-WST-433673.html">Manchester City shirt</a>, where the sponsors somewhat fade into the background the club badge shines brightest.</p>



<p>The gold doesn’t appear as bold as it did in the leaks, especially from afar. It’s hard to see at all when you’re not up close. On TV or from the stands this will look like a much simpler design than it is.</p>
