
<p>Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly interested in signing <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/manchester-united-tv-schedule/">Manchester United</a> goalkeeper Dean Henderson. According to sources at <em><a href="https://www.espn.co.uk/football/soccer-transfers/story/4907595/tottenham-keen-manchester-united-dean-henderson-sources" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ESPN</a></em>, the north London club would pounce if United were willing to part ways with Henderson. <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/tottenham-tv-schedule/">Spurs</a> will certainly be looking for a fresh keeper during the summer transfer window. </p>



<p>The north London club’s top two shot-stoppers on the team, Hugo Lloris and Fraser Forster, are currently 36 and 35 years of age, respectively. Both keepers will also enter their final year of contract next season.</p>



<h5>Keeper wants no. 1 role</h5>



<p>United must make a decision on Henderson’s future this summer as well. David de Gea is currently the undisputed No. 1 keeper for the club. However, the Spain international’s contract ends in June. Yet, the Red Devils have not yet come to an agreement for an extension. </p>



<p>Manager Erik ten Hag wants to <a href="https://manutdnews.com/man-utd-continuing-attempts-to-agree-new-contracts-with-de-gea-and-rashford/">keep de Gea at the club</a>, but he also reportedly wants to offer the player a reduced salary. Although an agreement appears likely, nothing has materialized just yet.</p>



<p>Henderson is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest. While the newly-promoted side is fighting to avoid relegation, the keeper has performed well. At 26, Henderson will also most likely want to tie down a regular starting role with a club. If United are willing to part ways with the keeper, there will be plenty of potential suitors.</p>

<h2>United monitoring Kane, Spurs hunting Henderson</h2>



<p>Assuming Spurs make a formal offer for Henderson, United could then target Harry Kane. <em><a href="https://www.espn.co.uk/football/soccer-transfers/story/4907595/tottenham-keen-manchester-united-dean-henderson-sources" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ESPN</a></em> is reporting that the Red Devils are clearly interested in signing the superstar striker this summer. The two Premier League clubs could hash out a simultaneous deal to make both parties happy. Spurs would supposedly listen to offers in the $120 million range for Kane.</p>



<p>Nevertheless, Tottenham’s willingness to negotiate with a Premier League rival remains to be seen. First and foremost, the north London club wants to re-sign Kane to a new contract. If they don’t succeed at this, they would surely rather sell their star to a foreign team. Bayern Munich have already <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/news/harry-kane-delays-contract-talks-with-tottenham-20221028-WST-406134.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">spoken publicly</a> about Kane in recent months.</p>
