
<p>Bayern Munich have fired manager Julian Nagelsmann and are reportedly ready to replace him with Thomas Tuchel. Nagelsmann, widely considered one of the top young coaches in the sport, was sacked despite having a 71% win rate at the club. The 35-year-old German won the 2021/22 <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/bundesliga-tv-schedule/">Bundesliga</a> title and the last two DFL-Supercups as well.</p>



<h5>Firing comes as Bayern cruise in Champions League</h5>



<p><a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/bayern-munich-tv-schedule/">Bayern Munich</a> are currently thriving in the <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/champions-league-tv-schedule/">UEFA Champions League</a>. They have managed to win all eight matches in the competition during the season. This includes being involved in the ‘Group of Death’ alongside Barcelona and Inter Milan. Bayern <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/news/bayern-ease-past-psg-and-into-ucl-quarterfinals-20230308-WST-422769.html">brushed aside powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain</a> in the round of 16, as well.</p>



<p>Nevertheless, the club is one point behind rivals Borussia Dortmund in the league standings. Bayern have won the <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/news/bayern-down-dortmund-to-win-10th-straight-bundesliga-title-20220423-CMS-381249.html">last 10 German titles</a>. Team hierarchy apparently is not happy about the club’s position in the domestic table. Nagelsmann lost his last Bundesliga match in charge against Bayer Leverkusen thanks to two second half penalties.</p>



<h2>Tuchel replaces Naglesmann and starts Bayern job on Monday</h2>



<p>With Nagelsmann gone, Bayern will now turn to Tuchel. Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano is reporting that the former Dortmund, PSG and Chelsea boss quickly agreed to become Bayern’s new coach. Tuchel will soon sign a two-and-a-half year contract to remain at the club until the summer of 2025. The 49-year-old coach is set to join the team on Monday.</p>

<p><a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/2022/09/08/thomas-tuchel-time-at-chelsea/">Tuchel departed Chelsea back in September</a> after a slow start to the current campaign. However, the German did collect the Champions League and UEFA Super Cup in 2021 with the Blues. Chelsea continued to struggle after sacking Tuchel early in the campaign and still sit 10th in the <a href="https://www.premierleague.com/tables" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Premier League table</a>.</p>



<p><a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11897987/Julian-Nagelsmann-skiing-Austria-told-Bayern-Munich-sacking-night.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Reports</a> coming out of Germany suggest that Nagelsmann was informed of the split while on a skiing vacation. Nevertheless, he almost certainly won’t be out of a job for long. PSG or Tottenham Hotspur could soon come calling as both of their managers are currently under fire.</p>

<p>Thomas Tuchel’s time at <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/teams/chelsea-tv-schedule/">Chelsea</a> was short-lived and filled with ups and downs. After all, the German coach did collect <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/champions-league-tv-schedule/">Champions League</a> and Club World Cup trophies for the Blues, but he only managed one full season at the helm.</p>



<p>Many fans and pundits were surprised when new ownership led by Toddy Boehly fired Tuchel just seven matches into the current campaign. The Blues were sitting just sixth in the table at the time of his sacking. However, <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/2022/09/08/thomas-tuchel-time-at-chelsea/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">news of various issues</a> between Tuchel, Boehly, and the players surfaced in the days following his departure.</p>



<h2>Ex-wife has email containing info on husband’s firing</h2>



<p>Now Tuchel’s ex-wife is hoping to reveal even more information on the ordeal. According to a report by <em><a href="https://www.bild.de/bild-plus/regional/muenchen/muenchen-aktuell/pikante-e-mail-thomas-tuchel-gerichts-zoff-mit-der-ex-83147468.bild.html?ticket=ST-A-23653486-S3UHL2GIf172qoRD5TtL-sso-signin-server" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bild</a></em>, Sissi Tuchel was informed of multiple reasons why her ex-husband was fired from Chelsea. Lack of results on the pitch and the loss of respect by the players was named, but also peculiar ‘off-field reasons’ as well. Sissi apparently wrote an email about this and could soon release the information in a German courtroom. The former Chelsea boss is, however, trying to keep a lid on the email.</p>



<p>The couple split last year and are currently in a court battle in Germany. A judge <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11843571/Thomas-Tuchel-Chelsea-sack-reasons-allegedly-revealed-email.html?ns_mchannel=rss&amp;ns_campaign=1490&amp;ito=1490" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ruled</a> that the divorce hearing would be held behind closed doors “because the highly personal area of life is touched on and the truthfulness of the statements is also disputed.”</p>



<h2>Pundit previously made similar allegations</h2>



<p>Former Crystal Palace owner and current talkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan previously claimed to know similar information. “There’s a lot more behind the scenes that would make most people’s eyes water as to the reasons why Todd Boehly made that decision and it wasn’t just a case of losing to Dinamo Zagreb,” <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11843571/Thomas-Tuchel-Chelsea-sack-reasons-allegedly-revealed-email.html?ns_mchannel=rss&amp;ns_campaign=1490&amp;ito=1490" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">said</a> Jordan. “It was a case of a raft of other things – that’s Todd Boehly’s gift to tell people what it is.”</p>



<p>Tuchel has not yet taken a new job with another club just yet. He has, however, been linked with Tottenham Hotspur should Antonio Conte depart north London.</p>
